DEBORAH G. JOHNSON is an Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has published articles on a broad range of topics in applied ethics. She is the author ofComputer Ethics (Prentice-Hall, 1985) and is completing a term as co-editor of theBusiness & Professional Ethics Journal.
