The Role of Action in the Development of Thinking

  • Chapter
Book cover Knowledge and Development

Abstract

We should like to set forth, without delving into otherwise well-known theoretical considerations, a number of facts and experiments which might be of interest to those who have a practical concern with the study of thinking. We have in mind, not only child psychologists, but also educators whose aim is to translate this psychology into effective teaching processes.

Translated from the French by Hans Furth.
