I am an assistant professor in the department of philosophy at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Before that I was a Ph.D. student at Princeton University and an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

My research interests are in metaphysics and epistemology broadly construed, but especially the philosophy of language and mind. My current research focuses on propositional attitude ascription, the foundations of propositional conceptions of semantics, the nature of metaphysical modality, and the relationship between epistemic and metaphysical modalities.
