Cynthia A. Stark is an associate professor at the University of Utah who works in political philosophy, feminist philosophy, normative ethics and film-philosophy. Specifically, she has written on such topics as social contract theory, Rawls, luck egalitarianism, disability, self-respect, pornography, gas-lighting, the gendered division of labor and the films of David Fincher. She has published in Hypatia, the Journal of Philosophy, Nous and the Journal of Political Philosophy, among others.
