Abstract

Ciceros Topik wird oftmals als Gelegenheitsschrift von nur marginaler Bedeutung verkannt. Ihr eigentliches Ziel liegt in der Wiederzusammenführung von Dialektik und Rhetorik, der seit Platon und Isokrates miteinander verfeindeten Schwestern.
