Optimization of Use of Public Funds for Promotion of The Rational Use of Energy and Renewable Energy Sources: The Example of Poland
World Futures 65 (5):417-426 (2009)
|Abstract||The article describes an attempt to provide support for decision making in the area of Rational User of Energy and Renewable Energies, based on the application of a simulation model Invert, developed within the ALTENER Programme. Examples are presented of the results of simulations estimating the efficiency of selected RES & RUE promotion schemes with respect to the main barriers hampering the development of biomass use for energy purposes in Poland. In an attempt to overcome barriers, a solution was suggested, aimed at decreasing the investment costs by combining the financial support schemes with the effect of scale|
