Abstract

Acknowledging the ultimate foundationalism of Edmund Husserl's philosophy, Haney nonetheless provides an innovative analysis of the fifth of Husserl's Cartesian Meditations, finding that his theory of the constitution of intersubjectivity can provide guidance for a persuasive account of the process whereby one subject comes to know another.
