Abstract

Par quels instruments conceptuels appréhender l'altérité du corps autistique et rendre compte de sa constitution ? Pouvons-nous penser la genèse d'un corps sans faire référence au temps d'une conscience-sujet ou au devenir d'une raison posée comme principe de son identité ? Victor, l'enfant sauvage : Victor est dans le temps comme on vit dans l'instant, l'éternel maintenant d'un non-événement, l'insensé du silence au coeur du devenir. Victor n'a rien du tout d'une conscience de soi, rien à faire du temps, des raisons de son ordre : Victor reste dehors, à l'extérieur de l'homme, à côté d'une conscience où il est sans objet, dans la nature des choses et du temps qui s'y fait, l'instrument d'une nature dont il est le relais. Baromètre, thermomètre : instruments de mesure d'une extériorité, instruments d'un mouvement où s'amorce le lieu d'une réflexivité sans sujet pour la dire, où s'exprime en un corps le temps qu'il fait dehors, se déploie le sensible, les phénomènes en peau. What concepts may allow us to grasp the autistic body's otherness, and to account for its constitution ? How can we think its development without refering to any self, any time or temporality, any ground able to found its identity ? Victor is the wild child ! He lives in time, but as we should live in the very present, in the perpetual now that never happens, in the insane of silence, lying in the depth of becoming. Victor has nothing to do with the Self or the Time ; he is outside, outside the man, beside any consciousness ; he lives in the middle of things, and just with the time stemming from them, like these instruments that take over nature. Barometer, thermometer as tools of the outer's measurement, tools of a process opening a place where reflexivity needs no ego, no Self able to tell it.
