Putnam on reference and constructible sets
British Journal for the Philosophy of Science 48 (1):55-67 (1997)
| Abstract | Putnam argues that, by ‘reinterpretation’, the Axiom of Constructibility can be saved from empirical refutation. This paper contends that this argument fails, a failure which leaves Putnam's sweeping appeal to the Lowenheim–Skolem Theorem inadequately motivated. | |||||||||
