| Abstract | Frederick Stoutland’s critical notice of Donald Davidson: Meaning, Truth, Language and Reality appeared in the March 2007 issue of this journal (vol. 15, no. 1). It would be fair to say that it is a hostile review. While we have no wish to engage in polemics, given the tone of the notice and its content, it may be worthwhile to review its main contentions. | |||||||||
