|Abstract||In the first part we consider some difficulties that arise as we move from the analysis of spatio- temporal regions to that of their natural occupants, such as physical bodies or events. In the second part we focus on the latter and we give a refined formulation of our argument to the effect that the temporal dimension can be directly construed from a domain of events in terms of the basic mereotopological relations of parthood and boundary.|
