| Abstract | This essay explores three themes in the work of Paul Ramsey: the meaning of neighbor-love, the development of his understanding of "love transforming natural justice," and the role of covenant in its relation to creation. Ramsey's later stress on "covenant" served both to preserve the priority of neighbor-love in his theological ethics and to improve the account of the relation of love and justice. | |||||||||
