    Swineshead on Falling Bodies: An Example of Fourteenth-Century Physics.M. A. Hoskin & A. G. Molland - 1966 - British Journal for the History of Science 3 (2):150-182.
The “Scientific Revolution” of the seventeenth century cannot adequately be assessed without an appreciation of the achievements and limitations of those, whether giants or dwarfs, on whose shoulders Galileo and his contemporaries stood.
