Para tal abordagem, realizarei um exame da possível intersecção do caso do membro fantasma com a noção de sedimentação descrita pelo filósofo. Com esse procedimento, compreenderemos o recurso de Merleau-Ponty aos escritos de Proust, notadamente, ao conceito de “tempo”. Veremos, entretanto, que este recurso está largamente em interface com noções da clínica freudiana.

    Hyppolite stresses his proximity to Merleau-Ponty, but the received interpretation of his “anti-humanist” reading of Hegel suggests a greater distance between their projects. This paper focuses on an under-explored dimension of their philosophical relationship.
