  1. Personality Development and Its Contingencies in Two MajorEnvironmental Contexts of Emerging Adulthood:Social Relationships and Work.Jennifer Deventer - 2018 - Dissertation, Christian-Albrechts-Universität Zu Kiel
Despite the relative stability of personality, multiple studies were able to show that personality develops across the whole life span with unique developmental patterns occurring in the time of emerging adulthood. Rank-order consistency has been shown to increase substantially, mean-level changes in the direction of the maturity principle have been repeatedly demonstrated, and interindividual differences in change were shown to be most pronounced. Aiming to explain these findings, social relationships and work haven been shown to be important environmental contexts for (...)

  • Testing a Modified Version of Schwartz’s Portrait Values Questionnaire to Measure Organizational Values in a University Context.Daniela Wetzelhütter, Chigozie Nnebedum, Jacques De Wet & Johann Bacher - 2020 - Journal of Human Values 26 (3):209-227.
Schwartz developed his Theory of Basic Human Values and corresponding instruments, the portrait values questionnaire and the Schwartz values survey, in order to measure personal values. • Multilingualism and Sameness Versus Otherness in a Semiotic Context.Bujar Hoxha - 2018 - Semiotica 2018 (225):507-520.
Many countries throughout the globe function in a system that allows the usage of more than one language. Such a multilingual social reality’s construction, especially in societies like the one in which I am living, is perceived in many different ways: attempting thus to provide for the process of differentiating identity’s oneness and sameness into various cultural subcategories, which already represent new realities. Due to newly created social realities, semiotics naturally discusses the differences and/or oppositions that can contribute to various (...)
