La première partie signale les points de convergence qui sont survenus à travers la controverse: la place accordée à la critique à l'intérieur de la raison critique. La deuxième partie fait des remarques critiques à propos de deux questions soulevées: la problématique d'une fondation critique de la vérité et le rapport de la raison à la pratique de l'emancipation humaines. Setting out from the analysis of the controversy between Habermas and Gadamer the author reflects on and takes up a position on the differences between hermeneutics and critical theory. In the first part the author indicates the points of convergence that have arisen through the controversy: the place granted to criticism within hermeneutic reason and the admittance of the historical and limited character of critical reason. In the second part the author makes critical remarks about two questions he raises: the problematic of a critical foundation of truth and the relationship of reason to human practice and emancipation. |
