John Hedley Brooke is the Andreas Idreos Professor of Science & Religion and Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre at the University of Oxford, where he is also a Fellow of Harris Manchester College. Author of Science and Religion: Some Historical Perspectives (Cambridge University Press, 1991), his most recent book, co-edited with Ian Maclean, is Heterodoxy in Early Modern Science and Religion (Oxford: OUP, 2005).
