Abstract

The generative structure of meaning is conceptualization, a multi-faceted intellectual talent realized in a package of closely related processes, namely: theorizing, thematization, versification, abstract modeling, mental simulation experimentation. A necessary prerequisite for conceptualization is the deployment of the event space in the imaginative (quasi-real) virtual mode als ob, the translation of mental activity into the category of subjunctionality. A sufficient prerequisite for conceptualization is the tropic technique of image-binding by presumptive tangency.
