이 논문에서 논자는 규율사회와 성과사회의 중첩 속에서 피로사회, 우울사회, 분노사회라는 복병을 끌어안고 있는 우리사회를 진단하고 예방하고 치료하기 위한 포월적 프락시스의 가능성을 모색하기 위하여 자신의 삶에 대한 비극적 의식을 실천하고자 하는 최근의 철학적 시도들 중에서 ‘철학 프락시스(Philosophische Praxis)’를 주목해보고자 한다. 철학 프락시스와 관련하여 오늘날 대표적으로 실천되고 있는 방법은 바로 소크라테스의 문답법이다. 소크라테스는 특히 니체에 의해서 평가절하 되었다. 그리고 일반적 수용사에서 소크라테스는 독자적인 위상 속에서 평가되기보다는 플라톤과 혼융되었다. 그러나 이와 같은 소크라테스 수용사에서 혼용되었거나 왜곡되었던 모습은 최근에 재평가되고 있다. 오늘날 플라톤과 독자적인 위상 속에서 수용되는 그러한 결과 중에 하나가 바로 ‘소크라테스적 문답법(socratic Dialogue)’이다. 이것은 플라톤의 그림자를 벗어난 소크라테스 철학의 진면목을 철학 교육, 철학 상담, 철학 치료의 영역에서 기본적이고도 광범위하게 활용하고 있다.
논자는 이와 같은 맥락에서 과연 오늘날 사용되고 있는 다양한 형태의 소크라테스적 문답법의 정체성을 검토하기 위하여 우선 소크라테스에 의해서 구사된 문답법을 분석해보고자 한다. 이는 문답법이 오늘날 철학과 삶의 관계에 있어서 지닐 수 있는 구체적인 역학관계를 짚어볼 수 있는 근거를 제공한다. 이 연구에서는 이와 같은 배경 속에서 우선 2장에서는 단지 학문적인 이론 활동만이 아니라 삶의 차원으로의 철학의 확장을 드러내는 소크라테스의 프락시스 활동으로서 문답법을 살펴볼 것이다. 3장에서는 소크라테스의 문답법을 엘렝코스, 산파술 그리고 변증술로 세분화하여 살펴볼 것이다. 그리고 4장에서는 이와 같은 소크라테스 문답법이라는 철학방법을 통해서 얻고자 하는 내용을 무지-애지-지에 대한 자각을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이와 같은 논의는 주로 『소크라테스의 변론』, 『테아이테토스』, 『국가』를 중심으로 다루고자 한다.
In this thesis this writer is going to take note of 'Philosophische Praxis' out of recent philosophical attempts to practice the tragic awareness as to our life in order to grope with the possibility of encompassing practice to diagnose, prevent and heal our society embracing an ambush of so-called fatigue society, gloom society, anger society in the overlap of disciplinary society and outcome society(Leistungs- gesellschaft). The method to be practiced typically today in relation with Philosophische Praxis is just Socratic Dialogue. Socrates was depreciated specially by Nietzsche and was evaluated in a general reception theory mixed with Plato instead of an independent status. However, such a shape mixed or twisted in the adoption of Socrates is being reassessed recently. Today, one of the results to be accepted in the independent status from Plato is just ‘Socratic Dialogue’. This is used to show the real worth of Socratic philosophy escaping from Plato's shadow basically and intensively in the realm of philosophical education, philosophical counseling, philosophical therapy. This arguer intends to analyze the Dialogue commanded first by Socrates to review the identity of Socratic Dialogue of varied forms used today in such a context. This provides a ground to witness a concrete relation of dynamics which the Dialogue can have in the relation of philosophy and life today. In such a background of this research, we'll first check the Dialogue as Socratic Praxis activity disclosing the extension of philosophy as the dimension of life instead of only an academic theory activity in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, we are going to study Socratic Dialogue by segmenting it into elenchus, midwifery and dialectics. And in Chapter 4, we will check the content to get through the philosophic method as such Socratic Dialogue focused on ignorance/love of knowledge/self-awareness of knowledge. In this argument we'll cover it mainly centered on Apology, Theaitetos, Politeia.
