Abstract

The article is devoted to the assessment of interconnection and interaction problems of an individual and a collective. The different definitions of personality are analyzed. There has been made a historical excursus to the theory of collective development during the soviet and post-Soviet period. There also have been set forth the views of interconnection and interaction of individual and a collective of outstanding pedagogues A. S. Makarenko and I. P. Ivanov. The modern psycho-pedagogical analysis of these theories confirms its actuality and practical importance.
