Zoltán Bay and the First Moon-Radar Experiment in Europe (Hungary, 1946)

Abstract

This paper describes the first moon-radar echo experiment conducted by Zoltán Bay in Hungary in 1946, and makes some comment on Bay as a model for contemporary physics students.
