Abstract
Professor Pörn’s paper provides a very clear and elegant theory of health. It puts the notions of health, illness and disease into a well-developed theoretical framework, viz, systems theory, and it relates them in a clear fashion to other important anthropological notions, such as repertoire and profile of goal.
