Dans le terme général de désensibilisation, on peut inclure certaines thérapies comportementales efficaces qui traitent des sujets anxieux ou phobiques en utilisant les méthodes d’exposition graduée, d’imagerie visuelle, et de relaxation. En s’appuyant sur les nouvelles recherches en neurosciences, ce travail théorique analyse principalement le fonctionnement cérébral d’une forme de désensibilisation systématique utilisant l’autohypnose. Dans cet article sont présentés les bases neurobiologiques des réactions phobiques mais aussi des systèmes de suggestion hypnotique. Ce travail analyse également les intérêts et les limites des méthodes de désensibilisation systématique.
In the general term “desensitization” one can include various efficient behavioural therapies that treat anxious or phobic subjects using methods of progressive exposure, visual imagery, and relaxation. Based on new research in neuroscience, this theoretical work principally analyses the cerebral functioning of a form of desensitizing using self hypnosis. The neurophysiological mechanisms of the phobia and the systems of hypnotic suggestion are analysed.
This article also presents the interests and the limits of desensitizing.
