Gary E. Overvold is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Clark University, Massachusetts, U.S.A. He has been awarded Fellowships from the Ford Foundation, Belgian American Educational Foundation, NEH, Woodrow Wilson Foundation, and the Lilly Endowment. He has co-edited a book and his articles have been published in Liberal Education and Descriptions.
