Abstract

In search of the origin of space-time structure, we revisit the so called “no-scale ansatz.” We point out that this ansatz can explain the dimensionality of space-time and the spatial flatness at the same time. We comment on the possible generalization of the cosmological principle.
In search of the structure of space-time near the Planck length, we revisit Snyder's quantized space-time. We point out that the uncertainty relation in the quantized space-time agrees, in certain limits, with the so called “string uncertainty principle.” We speculate on the possibility of strings living in quantized space-time.
