Uday Turaga is a doctoral student in the Department of Energy and Geo-Environmental Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. Turaga holds degrees in chemistry and environmental law from India. Turaga’s forays into environmental activism include working with the Narmada Bachao Andolan, founding a New Delhi-based non-profit institution called Environmental Anthem, and writing on environmental issues.
