I am sorry to disappoint, Glenn, but all your questions seem to me to indicate that you have got caught up the sorts of language holidays that Wittgenstein warned us against. I cannot really say more. You seem to have lost touch with what the words would mean in terms of concrete causal dynamic relations and possible ways of communicating in natural language. Virtually all twentieth philosophers of mind have been lost in this fog so you would not be alone, but all I can recommend is to throw all the philosophical jargon you have acquired in the bin and look at the science. That does not in any way mean taking on a 'materialist' metaphysics though, since materialism is a naive metaphysics more or less only held by philosophers as far as I can see.
