In this research I propose to bring to light the meaning of "Venus" in the invocation of Lucretius´s De rerum natura. This paper is divided into six parts. In the first, I give an account of the various interpretations of the invocation and I systematize them. In the second I analyze and discuss three incategorizable investigations. In the third and fourth parts I expose the epicurean concepts of pleasure and divinity respectively. In the fifth I look for the terms, by (...) way of epithets, that the poet uses to refer to the goddess, bringing to light the nuances that light up them alternately in various instances of the invocation. In the sixth, finally, I give mine interpretation of vv 44-49 explaining why they should be included in the invocation. (shrink)

The work will be structured in three sections. The first of them analyzes how the different specialists in Spinozian work have studied the Dutch corpus in a dialectical way. This type of interpretation will be emphasized here not only in regard to Spinoza's own ontology, but also to his political philosophy. Secondly, this article investigates the way in which Spinozian ontology can be studied, proposing that, rather than making use of a dialectical method of Hegelian roots, it is rather possible (...) to undertake the study of Spinoza's main philosophical concepts. that are linked to the essence from the notion of sublimation, a notion that, as we will see, is closely related to the monism of Spinoza's philosophy. Finally, the way in which this sublimation procedure can also be applied to the concepts of the Dutchman that specifically refer to the political aspect of his thought is analyzed. (shrink)

This article offers a state of the art of research on Husserl's political philosophy. I begin my work outlining historical and systematical reasons about why this area is not only underdeveloped but also that its discoveries are not systematized. Then, I indicate that there have been two major tendencies on how to understand Husserlian political philosophy, on the one hand, as an ontology of the political world and, on the other, as a branch of social ethics. I detail the main (...) contributions that have been offered in both tendencies and I argue why only the second of them can be considered in a strict sense the political philosophy of Husserl. In the article we carry out a reading of the dossier on Herculine Barbin, a 19th century hermaphrodite who commits suicide at the age of 29 after having been legally reassigned to the "opposite sex", which Michel Foucault recovered from the medico-legal annals of the XIX century and published in 1978. A reading that emphasizes the subjective and experiential nature of Herculine's memoirs, as well as the critical nature that Foucault attributes to them and how this allows him to question (...) the idea that there is a "true sex" and, therefore, a “legitimate sexual identity”. Based on the above, we strive to show how the memories show the violent functioning of the binary regime of sexuality and the heteronormative character of the "sex-gender continuum", which allows us to recover the relevance of the project of a "desexualization of the pleasure” that Foucault used as the radical political strategy that would allow us to arrive at a new, fuller and freer economy of the body and its pleasures. This paper analyzes some of the theoretical formulations of Ernst Bloch, Antonio Gramsci and Louis Althusser that indicate the way in which the problem of plural temporality appears in the marxist tradition of thought. Acknowledging that the term “plural temporality” is not used explicitly in the work of these authors, it is seeked to show that, however, marxism has not always thought of history in a univocal and stable way, but has been able to recognize, in different ways and at (...) different times, the complexity of the plurality of historical time. The aim of the work is to account for certain traces of plural temporality within marxist tradition that contribute to strengthening a critique of the linear and progressive model of historical time. In this article, it is proposed to track various figures of the spectator that are often not directly read but are found between the lines. It is through the aesthetics of reception that the figure of the spectator, specifically that of a receiver, gains prominence, this being the backbone of this work. It is proposed that any work to be completed needs a spectator who is in front of the work or next to the artist. Through the various figures of (...) spectators we will generate a route on the relationship that they have with the author of the work. On the one hand, the hermenetic spectator and, on the other, the emancipated spectator as extremes of understanding of a work and of the relationship that the authors generate with their spectator; what do they expect to happen? All this through authors who have different perspectives such as: Jauss, Gadamer and Rancière, among others. (shrink)

Scientific theories are pure theoretical models integrated by a categorical scaffolding. Marx built a pure theoretical model that he called the capitalist mode of production; the historicity of its categories expresses the modes of production from which the capitalist comes and others that followed different paths. It also implies the existence of social formations in which a dominant mode of production and dominated forms of production coexist. The agrarian community is the highest form reached in the community entity and from (...) it comes the peasant economic unit generated in the parcelling of the land during the ancient form and gestation of capitalism, which is why the construction of a peasant mode of production does not proceed. El presente artículo elucida la posición de Félix Guattari sobre la organización política. Por este término entendemos la manera cómo, teórica y prácticamente, se construye y se desarrolla una militancia en lo real social, lo cual implica sostener una postura respecto al rol de los partidos, las instituciones y el Estado. A fin de precisar la especificidad del abordaje guattariano, desarrollado entre Psychanalyse et transversalité y Mille Plateaux, comparamos su planteamiento con los desarrollos tradicionales del anarquismo y el socialismo. Con (...) ello se asegura una aprehensión de la posible singularidad de los conceptos guattarianos de transversalidad, polivocidad, diagramatismo, entre otros. Em _O Anti-Édipo_, especialmente no terceiro capítulo deste livro, Deleuze e Guattari sustentam que a cada máquina social corresponde um regime de representação que se assenta sobre os fluxos de desejo: a máquina territorial primitiva opera por codificação, a máquina imperial despótica, por sobrecodificação, e a máquina civilizada capitalista, por descodificação e axiomatização. Isso faz com que o uso da língua varie historicamente e conforme a formação social. Neste artigo, buscamos caracterizar cada um desses regimes de signos e detalhar o (...) modo como a representação se organiza na superfície de cada um dos tipos de socius. Neste esforço, recorremos por vezes a autores da linguística que inspiraram Deleuze e Guattari, a saber, Saussure e Hjelmslev, no intuito de lançar luz sobre a relação entre língua e socius no âmbito deste livro. Preciado caracteriza o regime da diferença sexual como um conjunto de tecnologias sociais que esconde sob o nome de Natureza aquilo que se configura como efeito da ordem política e econômica denominada “patriarcado hetero-colonial”. Deleuze e Guattari, em O Anti-Édipo, constroem uma concepção de sexualidade inseparável das determinações do campo social. Porém, veremos como é pelo conceito de sexualidade maquínica que os autores se furtam a reduzir a sexualidade a um simples efeito do campo social, pois também buscam uma dimensão (...) criativa capaz de romper com essas determinações. A intenção deste artigo é, apesar da aparente divergência entre contrassexualidade e sexualidade maquínica, explorar afinidades conceituais entre ambas no que diz respeito à crítica à diferença sexual e ao esforço de experimentação de novas “plataformas sexuais”. El artículo presenta las elaboraciones conceptuales de Deleuze y Guattari en torno a la perversión, especialmente según las propuestas que los autores desarrollan en El anti-Edipo. Capitalismo y Esquizofrenia. Se trabajará la idea de que la perversión, así como otras formas de lo psíquico, están entramadas al interior del campo social, en una relación de continuidad y siguiendo un proceso de producción de lo real, que es lo que Deleuze y Guattari entienden por deseo. El carácter histórico del delirio y (...) el carácter grupal del fantasma muestran esa continuidad entre lo psíquico y lo social como expresión de modos no-normados de la subjetividad en tanto que reivindicaciones políticas del deseo. El presente texto se preguntará por el modo en que Marx introduce el deseo en el estudio de la producción según Deleuze y Guattari. Partiendo de la segunda nota al pie de El Capital y sus implicaciones entre deseo y necesidad, emprenderemos una relectura del primer capítulo de esta obra en la que buscaremos dar cuenta de las formas de reconocimiento (en tanto que deseo del deseo del otro) que se establecen en la producción capitalista. Posteriormente, en la segunda parte, (...) nos trasladaremos al tercer capítulo de El anti-Edipo. El objetivo será mostrar las distintas relaciones entre reconocimiento y producción que podemos encontrar en las tres formas de socius que allí establecen Deleuze y Guattari. Con ello trataremos de ampliar las conclusiones establecidas en la primera parte de nuestra exposición con el fin de conducir la problemática hacia las formas en las que el deseo mismo (y con ello el reconocimiento) se produce en el socius capitalista para ver la relación que mantiene con lo expuesto en el primer apartado. El presente trabajo se propone plegar parte del aparato conceptual de El anti-Edipo en torno a tres instancias: el sonido registrado y reproducido, el dispositivo cinematográfico, la televisión como medio para yoes con cámaras. La lista busca traducir una recomendación deleuziana: “Una buena manera de leer, hoy en día, sería tratar un libro de la misma manera en que se escucha un disco, que se ve una película o un programa de televisión, de la misma manera que se acoge una (...) canción” (Deleuze, 1980: 8). La lectura en clave pop es la lectura desde una perspectiva que no juzga la cultura de masas, sino que la incorpora como método de trabajo. Escuchar un disco, ver una película o un programa de televisión son todo menos actividades claras y distintas. (shrink)

El presente artículo discute acerca de la actualidad de la filosofía del deseo inaugurada con El anti-Edipo. Para ello, en primer lugar, se analiza el pragmatismo que inaugura esta obra, estableciendo un contrapunto con las filosofías de Kant y Marx y mostrando sus resonancias con la filosofía nietzscheana. En segundo lugar, comprendiendo este pragmatismo a partir de la invención de su método, el esquizoanálisis, que funciona en el diagnóstico de la perversión del deseo gregario. Por último, describiendo brevemente las derivas (...) del esquizo-análisis desde su formulación en El anti-Edipo hasta ¿Qué es la filosofía?, estableciendo así sus posibles usos para pensar el presente. La hipótesis de este trabajo es que el esquizoanálisis muestra especial eficacia al reactivar el componente clínico que está en la base de su formulación, permitiendo recomprender la noción de deseo más allá de las nociones tradicionales metafísicas de sujeto y de lo humano. Proponemos leer a El anti-Edipo en clave fanoniana. Vamos a enfocar el trabajo de interpelación que en este libro se realiza, de los modos de vinculación de las dimensiones psico, social y política que están en boga al tiempo que el libro se escribe y se publica. Nos preguntamos cómo el programa de Deleuze y Guattari desarrolla una crítica transversal de la teoría de la asimetría originaria y acusa la obliteración sistemática de los mecanismos que la hacen funcional al sistema. (...) La escritura fanoniana es convocada cuando se presenta el límite de una clínica endogámica que bifurca y racializa el inconsciente. Nos interesa cómo este límite allana el camino para la remoción que Deleuze y Guattari realizan del contractualismo sustentado en la ficción del mito de la fundación y del logos, y porque informa algunas condiciones constitutivas de la producción de subjetividades propia del capitalismo, pero también del colonialismo y la colonialidad. En este artículo intentamos exponer algunas de las cuestiones principales elaboradas en _El anti-Edipo_, con el objeto de enfatizar su relevancia para la comprensión de una filosofía política novedosa. Para ello nos centramos en tres aspectos articulados que están presentes en el libro, pero que se vuelven más claros para nuestra actualidad al momento de ponerlos en contacto con algunas de las discusiones que han suscitado y con el corpus deleuziano-guattariano. Esos aspectos son: 1) la tematización del deseo, sometido a (...) una transformación a partir del concepto de “máquina”, 2) el análisis del capitalismo, a partir de la teorización de un _socius_ específico, donde el deseo adquiere un tratamiento singular, y 3) el descubrimiento de un fascismo molecular, que será desarrollado abiertamente en textos posteriores de ambos autores. La caracterización filosófica del capital en El anti-Edipo (1972) guarda sutiles pero significativas resonancias con la ontología desarrollada por Deleuze en Diferencia y repetición (1968), particularmente en el empleo de la relación diferencial dy/dx como recurso conceptual, y en la noción de “expresión”. El anti-Edipo usa aquella notación matemática para conceptualizar los flujos determinantes del socius capitalista, cuya heterogeneidad es expresada por dos aspectos coexistentes en la moneda. La interferencia matemática explorada previamente por la escritura deleuziana, se mezcla aquí con (...) dos fuentes de teoría monetaria: Suzanne de Brunhoff y Bernard Schmitt. Proponemos ahondar en esta concepción deleuzo-guattariana, siguiendo la ontología diferencial y la teoría monetaria para conceptualizar el régimen de signos propio del capital, y el modo de dominación que instaura. En este artículo, procederemos a examinar el concepto de agencement en El anti-Edipo. Probamos que su uso inicial se registra, efectivamente, en el primer tomo de Capitalismo y esquizofrenia. Analizamos las nueve apariciones del concepto en dicho marco y demostramos que se halla, al menos en principio, estrechamente ligado al concepto de máquina (deseante). A la vez, sentamos la hipótesis de que este último no es sustituido por el primero (equívoco suscitado por el propio Deleuze) sino que, tras haber coexistido (...) ambos, agencement habría resultado más eficiente como pilar teórico de una teoría general de las máquinas. The purpose of this article is to translate teaching experiences through an interpretation of the world of signs. In between confinements, teachers exercise on stagings that are not just replicating transformations of themselves; but, unique recreations in their worldliness, and in potent sensibilities; possibly different in their own repetition. As a way of resistance in the subjectification experience, we reinvent ourselves with worlds already created, rethinking the school as an environment, institution, space, time, world, and form. With Cortázar, we place (...) ourselves in the unstable opposition, where there is an amorous combat between signs and their interpretation. And this requires a permanent process of reconstruction and recreation of the research perspective, sustained, especially, in Deleuze. Being able to translate in a different way what we are doing, caused concerns in ourselves and even in others. (shrink)

Werner Hamacher's thought, despite its relevance and scope in other languages, has had a rather tenuous reception in the Spanish-speaking world to date. It is even possible to speak of the obstruction, in some of its points, of the circulation of his thought, as a product of the complexity of its translation. These difficulties, far from being reducible to a merely technical problem, are discussed hand in hand with the comparative reading of some of his texts in Spanish. His thought (...) from and in the language, sometimes despite it, illustrates the relevance of considering translation as a key operation for the philosophical debate in general and in Spanish-speaking countries in particular. In this article we propose to carry out an examination of the notions of ‘other’ based on the philosophical proposals of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Maurice Blanchot. It seeks to show the common point between both thoughts, from a proposal in which the other is understood as a dislocation, which manifests itself in the way of an opening. For this reason, the notion of opening becomes the central element of this analysis, from which the other manifests itself in an ambiguous way. (...) To this end, the proposals of both authors will be analyzed separately, however, highlighting and relating to each other their respective conceptions of opening and the implications they have regarding the question of the other. El título del artículo alude a una controversia a propósito de la interpretación heideggeriana de Nietzsche. Dicho título proponemos entenderlo a partir del título de un artículo de José Jara donde en su primera parte está el guion que une y separa a Nietzsche y Heidegger y en la segunda parte, después de los dos puntos se encuentra otro título, aquel que corresponde a un aforismo de Nietzsche que es una alegoría. Consideramos que José Jara, sin decirlo, se propuso convertirse (...) en el guion de la controversia aludida, intentando someter a Nietzsche a una especie de catarsis que lo limpiara o rescatara de la interpretación del maestro de Friburgo. Así Nietzsche redivivo estaría en la actualidad, en la situación de poder exclamar una vez más: “ y volvemos a estar límpidos ”. (shrink)

This paper inquires the systematical consequences in the Nietzschean critics of the biological determination of life. We proposed an analysis about central topics of this determination: the finalism, the life and chaos. This approach allows us to relieve a systematical conception of what Nietzsche understands by “necessity”. This conception of necessity is not metaphysic in the traditional sense, but implies a subversion of all special metaphysic. Beyond this, it entails a critical to the transcendental and normative version, own of Kantian (...) thought, about the question of life. These confrontations seek to clarify the gnoseological and ontological areas put in check, on the status of the concept of life. (shrink)

This article explores the concept of Habit proposed by Deleuze in his early work. When reading is projected from the empiricist tradition and that is why Hume is mainly the author from which Deleuze develops this concept, although he also traverses the thought of Bergson, Ravaisson or Samuel Butler. Our objective is to point out to what extent habit constitutes an essential principle of its metaphysics, by posing it as a peculiar synthesis of time and subjectivity. Therefore, we have tried (...) to link the analyzes described in both Empirisme et subjectivité and Différence et répétition to realize that the problem of temporal syntheses is fundamental to what Deleuze postulates as “transcendental empiricism” in that last book. The following article analyzes the development of education plans in home economics and home education between 1920 and 1960 in the case of Chile. From this perspective, it is interesting to investigate the impact on female pedagogical training of the manuals and education programs in home economics and home education between 1920 and 1960, promoted by the different Chilean governments of the period. The results show that these plans and programmes enhanced the training of women in domestic work, contributing to (...) this task from primary, secondary and later university education, it is also noted that the educational policies promoted in the period contributed to strengthen a naturalizing discourse on the relationship. This article shows how Adorno and Horkheimer’s project of enlighten the enlightenment has as goal to overcome the dialectic of enlightenment and achieve an enlightenment without domination. The rationalization and disenchantment that define enlightenment have turned everything into an object that can be manipulated by human beings. In the administered world it has even come to reduce the human being itself to an object by means of his identification and deindividualization. This is the death of the human being. Enlightenment has (...) ended up in domination, in a totalitarian system. Auschwitz has represented the culmination of this understanding of thinking as identification. To save enlightenment is to avoid this dialectic of enlightenment, to demythologize the rationalizing enlightenment. This allows an open and altruistic thinking, which is non-identifying, alien to the domain and respectful of the individual human being. (shrink)

With the massification of digital communication networks, a powerful and intense digital transformation of everyday life has been taking place.
