  1. O objeto transicional de Winnicott na formação do conceito de objeto a em Lacan / Winnicott’s transitional object in the formation of the Lacanian concept of object a.Vorcaro Angela & Lucero Ariana - 2015 - Natureza Humana 2017 (1):15-31.
This article aims to indicate possible approximations between the Lacanian concept of object a and the Winnicottian concept of transitional object. Initially, the Lacanian references to Winnicott’s work are mostly critics, e.g. in the Seminar 4 (1956-1957/1995), which debates the issue of object relation. Nevertheless, a few years later, in the Seminar 15 (1967-1968), an association between the object a and the transitional object is explicitly stated by Lacan, accompanied by a strong recognition of the English psychoanalyst’s work. Through this (...)

The Objectification of Human Phenomena: Observations in the Light of Winnicott and Heidegger /A Objetificação Dos Fenômenos Humanos: Um Olhar À Luz de Winnicott E Heidegger.Ribeiro Caroline Vasconcelos - 2015 - Natureza Humana 17 (1):58-73.
In The Age of the World Picture, philosopher Martin Heidegger claims that scientific representations do not reduce themselves to pure appropriations of what they present. Rather, they convey investigations that confine being to rules of appropriation. Those rules govern how natural science accesses phenomena. The choice of natural science as the predominant mode of representation of reality entails what Heidegger calls a process of objectification (Vergegenständlichung). In his Zollikon Seminars, Heidegger questions the tribute paid by the sciences of the mind (...)

  3. O conceito de angústia na teoria freudiana inicial / The concept of anxiety in Freud’s early theory.Caropreso Fátima & Aguiar Marina Bilig - 2015 - Natureza Humana 17 (1):1-14.
From the very beginning of his career, Freud tried to define anxiety. The most widespread hypothesis among Freudian scholars is that he developed two theories of anxiety. In the first one, anxiety is conceived as resulting from the transformation of sexual energy that could not be properly discharged. In the second hypothesis, in turn, the concept of anxiety as a reaction to danger is emphasized. This paper sets out to discuss Freud’s early views on affect and anxiety and argues that, (...)

Paul Ricoeur, Leitor de Freud: Contribuições da Psicanálise Ao Campo da Filosofia Hermenêutica / Paul Ricoeur, Reader of Freud: Contributions of Psychoanalysis to the Field of Hermeneutic Philosophy.Medeiros Jonas Torres - 2015 - Natureza Humana 17 (1):74-107.
This work aims to spell out clear the tensions manifested by the meeting between the project of a reflexive philosophy and psychoanalysis, from a very specific event: the publication, in 1965, of the thesis De l'interprétation: essai sur Freud by Paul Ricoeur. Our question arises from the fact that psychoanalysis has introduced one of the greatest embarrassments to the philosophies of consciousness, as it established the unconscious psychic as foundation and array of subjectivity. In contrast, Paul Ricoeur strengthens its belonging (...)

A Atualidade Como Questão: Ontologia Do Presente Em Michel Foucault / The Actuality as a Question: Ontology of Present in Michel Foucault.Furtado Rafael Nogueira - 2015 - Natureza Humana 17 (1):144-156.
This paper aims to evidence the meaning of “ontology of present”, a concept elaborated by Michel Foucault, and intends to elucidate the philosopher’s idea that subjectivity is historically formed. The context of the concept’s emergence will be analyzed, considering Foucault’s studies on the ancient greco-roman moral, in which he discuss the role of liberty and autonomy in the development of citizens. To the philosopher, the ontology of present consists in a critic of the domination and subjugation mechanisms, produced by disciplinary (...)

A Época Das Imagens de Homem: Foucault Leitor da Antropologia de Kant /The Era of the Pictures of Man Kant’s Anthropology: A Study by Foucault.Piza Suze - 2015 - Natureza Humana 17 (1):108-143.
Michel Foucault defends the thesis that man is a recent invention and with a foretold death. In this article, we will present a study that Foucault carried out on Kant’s Anthropology from a Pragmatic Point of View, and his complementary thesis, as the basis of the thesis of the birth and death of the subject in modernity. Foucault’s philosophy will be presented as a chapter of Kantianism, a critique of anthropological reason that is rooted in Heidegger’s study on Kant. In (...)
