"Epistemologi Moluska" Bruno Latour dan Paradigma Non-Modern Pengetahuan.Kevin Juwono - 2024 - Diskursus - Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi STF Driyarkara 20 (1):97-133.
Due to the impression that Bruno Latour rejects epistemology, his thought is often considered as part of postmodernism and relativism. This essays will show that this impression is misleading. The target of Latour's critique is the modern paradigm that dichotomizes absolutely between ontology and epistemology, as in subject—object and nature—society. Latour succeeded in showing that modern epistemology is not absolute. To do so, he included a two-dimensional variable in one-dimensional insertions, with the example of a generic scheme created by a (...)

χάρις: Ketika Pemberian Ditanggapi dengan Rasa Syukur (Membaca Kisah Paulus dan Lidia dalam Kis. 16:13-15 melalui Lensa Gift of Exchange Repertoire). [REVIEW]Klementius Anselmus Loba & Aryanto Antonius Galih Arga Wiwin - 2024 - Diskursus - Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi STF Driyarkara 20 (1):1-32.
This article analyzes the encounter story of Paul and Lydia (Acts 16:13-15) as a concrete example of the practice of reciprocal gift exchange. The exchange of “gifts” between the two took place when Paul preached the Christian faith and baptized Lydia, and she reciprocated by giving Paul a ride. This study employs a social science approach by taking a repertoire of gift exchanges from the ancient Greco-Roman world to be applied to this story, and biblical studies for interpretation. From the (...)

Kritik terhadap Filsafat Pendidikan Jacques Rancière.Clemens Dion Yusila Timur - 2024 - Diskursus - Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi STF Driyarkara 20 (1):56-96.
This article contains four criticisms against Jacques Rancière's philosophy of education, insofar as his philosophy is written in his work The Ignorant Schoolmaster. In the first criticism, Rancière's presupposition of equality of intelligence would be framed as a truth claim and to the extent that it can be treated as such, Rancière's argument contains a number of defects. The second criticism underscores the distinction between inequality of intelligence and inequality of knowledge Rancière confuses. The third criticism concerns the contradiction between (...)
