Abstract
The first meeting of the recently formed Society for the Philosophy of Psychology will be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, October 24-26, 1974. The following panel discussions have been scheduled: Language and Psychology with Noam Chomsky, George Miller, and Patrick Suppes ; Intentionality and the Information Process Approach to Cognition with Daniel C. Dennett, Peter C. Dodwell, and Richard Rorty ; The Use of Models and Analogies in Psychological Theory with K. D. Irani, Jerry Letvin, and Paul Secord ; and The Role of Satisfaction in Motivation with David Birch, Richard Brandt, Frank Logan, and Edward Walker. For further information, contact Professor Jerry A.
