Abstract |
In recent years, a growing number of companies in Latin American have initiated specific programs oriented to socially respond to the communities in which they are established. Notwithstanding the importance of these programs and its benefits, it is interesting to note that Latin American countries are different from developed countries in which the trend for corporate social accountability has been initiated and developed. Noting this, the present study develops and tests several hypotheses regarding the effects of corporate social responsibility and work environment on antecedents of company's performance
