Abstract

This paper seeks to explain the concept of knowledge believed and practicedby Maulana in the times rife by rational skepticism, political turmoil andmoral and cultural upheaval. Perhaps we are again at the same crossroads thehistory has faced at times of Maulana. Thus we look towards Maulana forspiritual guidance and moral uplift his timeless writings uphold sincecenturies without loosing their charm and effectiveness. It is again divingdeep into ocean of spiritualism and discovering self worth and meaning ofexistence commanding management in one’s worldly material andintellectual affai rs and seeking social compliance through love andacceptance rather than control and coercion
