Abstract

Review of the book: David A. White, Filosofia pentru copii: 40 de răspunsuri la curiozităţile tale despre lume [Philosophy for Kids: 40 Fun Questions That Help You Wonder...about Everything!], Ilustraţii de Cheryle Chapline, Traducere din engleză de Laurenţiu Dulman, 199 p.The book covers a series of philosophy models aimed at facilitating the understanding of children and teachers who wish to engage into P4C practices. In its four parts, the book approaches 40 questions from the fields of „Values”, the problem of „Knowledge”, the subject of „Reality” and the topics of „Critical thinking”. The last section seems to be addressed to teachers engaged into P4C. Here, one can find out details about the organization of the P4C class, about the 40 questions, about teaching suggestions and curricular integration.
