Abstract
/// In order to explain the phenomenon of conversion, the author of the article, making particular use of the Philosophical Fragments, draws the characteristics of the non socratic master, reveals the object of faith and analyses the concept of faith according to Climacus. However, apparent contradictions, namely concerning the part of the will in the process of faith, or insufficient developments, principally regarding the leap, lead the author of the article to extend the enquiry to the Papirer and to what the Christian Anticlimacus thought, so that a pattern can be suggested to understand the kind of pathetic transition as well as its interaction with the dialectical element. At the same time, light is also shed on the important function of imagination and despair in the conversion process.
