The Bibliometric Analysis of China's Administration Studies

Abstract

From the use of bibliometrics research topics, research methods, research phase three angles of 200l-2005年study published in the Chinese administration on four important publications of research papers conducted by the internal structure of the analysis found in the administrative management of the research topics on the administrative functions, decision-making, reform, philosophy, law, personnel, grassroots political power of the mainstream research; administrative functions, administrative decisions, administrative reform, foreign administrative research and administrative philosophy is a hot topic of research; public service , performance evaluation, government credit, service-oriented government and non-governmental organizations, research themes for the two hot spots. In the study of the way, the Chinese administrative studies and non-existence of empirical research study by Ha, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of the imbalance, but empirical research and quantitative analysis methods are being more and more applications in the research stage, The survey of research papers and more at the problem description, problem diagnosis and response analysis phase. The bibliometric analysis on the internal structure of the research papers published in the four publications of administration studies in China during 2001-2005 arrives at the following conclusions: The mainstream research areas include executive functions, decision-making, reform, philosophy, the rule of law, personnel, and grass-roots political power; The hot topics of the first level include administrative functions, administrative decisions, administrative reform, the foreign researches, and administrative philosophy; The hot topics of the second level include public service, performance evaluation, governmental credit, service-oriented government, and non-governmental organizations; In research methods, there are imbalances between empirical studies and non-empirical studies, and between qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. However, empirical studies and quantitative analysis methods are being applied more and more in the researches; Most of the research papers focus on problem description, problem diagnosis and countermeasures suggestion
