Synthesis and Reduction: The Topics and Particularities of Buddhism in theLate Ming Dynasty

Abstract

This paper argues that the late Ming period inherited the jungle of Buddhism in China Buddhism inherent harmony of thought, showing a multi-division, multi-pronged reality of the situation, such as Chanjing confluence, teach Zen exchange, which was close simultaneously, of blending will, dialogue, Buddhism and Confucianism, Buddhism and communication and so on. The late Ming era of social transformation manifested by changes in thought and ideas change, but also to the late Ming Buddhist ideas harmony jungle reality show profound implication, to face the reality of their situation to respond to these ideas. India faced two major Buddhist traditions, the late Ming Buddhist jungle is also facing a situation and how to combine the Buddhist tradition of the jungle reality of the subject, led to concern that the Buddhist tradition is not the jungle, which shows the historical return to restore the traditional Buddhist tendencies. Restore the late Ming Buddhist ideas that did not constitute a Buddhist complex with the direction of choice, and Buddhist thought, constitutes the harmony of the revitalization of the jungle road choice. Buddhism and Buddhism to restore harmony with funding for the use of two major complementary ideas associated with orientation, as the late Ming Buddhist revival of the two major ideological theme, and eventually will be attributed to the reality of the jungle concept of reform, so that is not showing a revival of Buddhism the jungle scene . Resort to the late Ming Buddhist revival and reform of the history of jungle existence, the late Ming Buddhist revival trend is specifically expressed in the following four characteristics of the idea that multi-division, multi-pronged confused nature of the harmony of reality-based position, return to the Buddhist tradition restore history, as well as restore the history of harmony with the reality of a combination of reforms. It is the ideological characteristics of the late Ming Buddhist revival showing a jungle scene, and today's scholars called the "Wanli Buddhism" is specifically marked the late Ming Buddhist revival of the case
