Abstract

PWR nuclear power plant load following mode, the unit can effectively coordinate grid capacity and demand, to extend the life of the fuel cycle, to improve the economic performance of the unit is running. Reactor system is highly complex, nonlinear, time-varying characteristics. Through reasonable simplification, the establishment of a lumped parameter model of the reactor system, designed to load following control strategy. A step change in load disturbance and the introduction of linear perturbations of the reactor load following characteristics of the control system simulation. The results show that the control is consistent with the actual characteristics of the control system to meet the load-following performance requirements. Load-following model of PWR nuclear power plant can correspond with unit product and electric network demand, prolong circle life of fuel and enhance economical performance of unit operation. The characteristic of nuclear reactor is high complex, nonlinearity and time-vary. The nuclear reactor system model of lumped parameter was built based on reasonable reduction, and control strategy of load-following was designed. Under phase step and linearly varying load disturbance, the characteristic of nuclear reactor load-following control system was analyzed. The results show that characteristic of control is consistent with practice, and control system is satisfied with the performance demand of load-following
