Pain and suffering as hermeneutical keys for the understanding of Weltanschauungen

Abstract

The sociocultural variables influence the interpretation of pain and suffering. This fact leads to rethinking the way of understanding humans. In this article we reflect on pain and suffering from its symbolic dimension. In this way, Weltanschauungenis presented as a key to understanding and interpreting humans, taking pain and suffering as a starting point.
