Schopenhauer: Cosmologia como hermenêutica da Representação

Abstract
The present paper aims to articulate the thesis of Schopenhauer, that their philosophy is rather a cosmology than a theology, with the hypothesis that his notion of Will might be unorthodox conceived as a hermeneutics of Representation. For this, we emphasize the importance of Schopenhauer’s distinction between objective and subjective being and subjective and objective consideration, and relates to the significance of the notion of analogy with the relationship between explanation and understanding in his Metaphysics of Nature
