Abstract

We encounter two contemporary discussions of metaphysics of time known as A- and B-theories. B-theory is opposed to the idea that time flows and according to this theory past, present and future are not immanent features of the events. However, according to the A-theory, time flows and past, present and future are temporal characteristics of events. So, in this study after specify the arguments of these two theories of time, we will discuss that the problem of reduction of those two theories to each other. Key words: Time, flow, time interval, temporal relations.
