Ge Yinliang and His Jinling Fanchazhi

Abstract

Geyin Liang is a famous late Ming Dynasty officials and scholars. He can be honest integrity, better bring the resistance to foreign invasion, brutal nation against the Qing conquest; Shouren mind about learning, emphasis on "Awakening", lecture and apprentices, construction of college, schools, promoting education; close to Buddhism, Taoism, charity, and at that time later had an impact. His book, "Jinling Vatican brake records," the study of the Ming Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, the history of Buddhism and other high value. Ge Yinliang, as a famous officer and scholar in the late Ming period, made a great influence since he promoted what was beneficial and abolished what was harmful, defended the foreigners invasion. He believed in Wang Yangming s learning, and built academy of classical learning to educate students, at the same time, he was close to Buddhism and Daoism. His book, titled Jinling Fanchazhi is significant not only for studying Ming history, the Buddhism history, and Nanjing history but also for the construction of Nanjing city
