Abstract

Le sens philosophique de bien des mots du Prologue johannique était familier aux Grecs cultivés du iie siècle. Depuis Anaximandre, l’arkhê signifie le principe, ce qui est à l’origine de tout et le demeure en permanence. Deuis Héraclite, le logos est la pensée divine qui éclaire pour l’homme le monde du sens ; c’est lui qui pilote le devenir du tout.The philosophical meaning of a number of words of the Johannine Prologue was familiar to the cultivated Greeks of the second century.
