Abstract

Diese Arbeit diskutiert das Ästhetikkonzept, das dem Roman von Peter Weiss Die Ästhetik des Widerstands zugrunde liegt. Ausführlich behandelt werden die Kunstauffassung von Peter Weiss, der Zusammenhang von Weiss' Ästhetikkonzept mit einer Theorie der Moderne und schließlich Weiss' dialektisches Denken überhaupt. Weiss' Hauptwerk, so die Grundthese dieser Arbeit, ist ein unverzichtbarer Beitrag zu einer materialistischen Ästhetik.
