Abstract

This issue marks the end of my first year as editor-in-chief of IJFAB. As a seasoned hand at editing—five years at the Hastings Center Report and another five at Hypatia, not to mention the Feminist Constructions series I edited with Sally Ruddick and Margaret Urban Walker—I knew the first year of a new editorial team could be mighty rocky. But it wasn't. It was fun. That, I think, was largely due to Patrick Walsh, who helped smooth the transition, and Kate Caras, who had been my partner in crime at Hypatia.
