Abstract

This work presents the ontological and existential functionality of poetry, conceived as a constituent activity and not as accessory to human condition. Accordingly, it develops classical issues "Natura Magistra" and "Anima Mundi", which evidence the significant condition of Nature, initial guide of man, and the animate character it was attributed by the platonic tradition. Also, it deals with the contemplation and dreaminess issues, establishing relationships between the poetic attitude, the mystic way and the philosophy.
