Abstract
Arneson, no artigo What, if Anything, Renders allHumans Morally Equal?, analisa as idéias de Singer e afirma encontrar um “problema”. In this article I will develop the implications of the idea of equality in Practical Ethics andEthical Life by Peter Singer, from the perspective of the criticism made by Richard J. Arnesonin What, if anything, washes all humans morally equal? Singer proposes that the equalitybetween human and non-humans beings is based on the “Principle of Equal Consideration ofSimilar Interests”. Arneson, on his turn, analyzes the ideas of Singer and affirms to find what hecalls “Singer’s problem”. According to his understanding, Singer re-introduces the elitism thathe claims to reject. In this paper I shall try to demonstrate that Arneson’s interpretation of Singer is not correct
