Abstract

Comecando por recordar, com base em Gadamer, a oposicao entre dois modos classicos da reflexão estetica-o modelo partilhado por autores como Espinosa e Schopenhauer e o modelo da hermenêutica de Dilthey -, pretende-se, em primeiro lugar, verificar como a posição dos textos de Wittgenstein sobre arte se aproxima da primeira perspectiva na defesa do caracter autonomo do objecto artistico e da compreensao intransitiva que lhe esta associada. Num processo analogo a compreensao de uma frase verbal, a compreensao de um objecto artistico significa uma (in) determinada capacidade técnica baseada numa configuragao normativa nao totalmente compendiavel -o jogo de linguagem. No esclarecimento desta analogia, e na consequente procura da gramatica do termo "compreender", e proposta uma serie de exemplos atraves dos quais sao investigadas experiencias de uma subita compreensao, a nivel verbal como a nivel estetico. Porque tais exemplos se assemelham aos casos de "Aha-Erlebnisse" estudados pela Psicologia Gestaltista, e porque de tal proximidade se abre uma via de comparac. ao entre os trabalhos de Wittgenstein e os autores gestaltistas, o artigo encerra com um percurso por essa mesma via. /// This essay begins by recalling, on the basis of Gadamefs thought, the opposition between two classic modes of the esthetic analysis: the model shared by authors such as Spinoza and Schopenhauer, and the Dilthey's model of hermeneutics. It aims, firstly, at verifying that Wi ttgenstein's thought in his texts on art is close to the first model, as he supports the autonomous character of the artistic object, and of the intransitive understanding which is closely associated with it. The understanding of an artistic object is similar to that of a sentence, it entails an (un) determined technical capacity based on the language game, something that is not completely epitomizable in a normative configuration. In an attempt to clarify this analogy, and in the consequent search for a grammar of the word "understand", a set of examples is put forward, on the basis of which experiences of a sudden understanding are investigated, both at the verbal and at the esthetical levels. Since such examples are close to the "Aha-Erlebnisse" studied by Gestalt Psychology, and also because such proximity opens a way of comparing the works of Wittgenstein and of other gestalt authors, the essay ends up by investigating such a way.
