Human Nature and Its Development-Re-understanding of Marx's Theory on Human Nature

Modern Philosophy 2:104-109 (2007)

Marx proposed the reality of human nature and the nature of the class thinking, but it is still no unified understanding of this so far. In this paper, starting from a Marxist text to explain the nature of both types of human nature is the nature of reality, is the class nature of the unity of nature and reality; and development of human society from the perspective of the development of human labor and social relations , and then explains the nature of human development, and to deepen their awareness and deep understanding of human nature. Man advanced the theory of human nature. It includes two aspects: one is "the genus nature of human beings", another is "the realistic nature of human beings". However up to now people's understanding on this theory has not been unified. Based on Man's works this article expounds that the human nature is not only the genus nature but also the realistic nature. The human nature is the unification of the genus nature and the realistic nature. On the other hand, the article explores the development of human labor and human social relationship at the angle of human social development. On this foundation the article explains the development of human nature. This is of great significance to help people understand deeply the self-nature of human beings
