Abstract

"Mou" type inference of affirmative "yes-ing" is recognized as a valid inference. According to Mr. Zhou Yunzhi, its effectiveness has two meanings: First, it is a valid interpretation of the second, it is the meaning of Qi's speech. This paper attempts to demonstrate that enterprise, if we accept the "is-ing" form of reasoning has its interpretation of a set of, it may make it lose the meaning of such words meaning together. The 'inference from affirmative to affirmative ', the affirmative form of type 'Mo ' reasoning, is generally accepted as valid. Accordingly to Mr. Zhuo Yun Zhi, its validity has two meanings: firstly, it is deductively valid; secondly, there is an equivalence between meanings of premise and conclusion . This article argues if the validity of "is-ing" is accepted as deductively valid, then the other meaning of validity will be lost
